Ruth Slabine Rooney

Ruth brings over 15 years of generalist human resource management experience to her role as consultant. She has built the human resource function for three major organizations providing policy, procedures and direction in employee relations, recruiting / retention, compensation, benefits, training and succession planning. Her practical and realistic approach to business challenges made her a key player on several senior leadership teams. As the Director of Human Resources for a high technology company she effectively managed the human resources portion of IPO and major organizational restructuring. She was instrumental in building company cultures for several new high technology firms.

Ruth holds a Master’s Degree in business management from Cambridge College, and certificates in Human Resources and ISO 9001 process. She has designed and delivered many team, supervisory and management training programs. Ruth has also instituted competency profiling for selection and development, and has recruited in the high tech industry for all levels.
